The rest are all GREAT. The Fever series and Angelfall are MUST READS for sure, tho so is everything else. So much reading and so little time for all of us, I think!Lauren @ Love is not a trianglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15388832613855107816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-44472052955919542342014-03-08T08:54:11.476+02:002014-03-08T08:54:11.476+02:001.) John Green - When I read this The Fault in Our Stars, I really loved it, but now when I think about that time, the book DID have an air of pretentiousness. Many of my friends liked it as well but thought the characters were too mature for their age. BUT that doesn't mean we're not excited for the movie!! :D I wanna watch it, too, and I'll prepare my feels beforehand.

2.) Rick Riordan - I started his Percy Jackson series AND YOU KNOW FULL WELL WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT.huhuhuhu.

3.) Susan Ee - I've yet to read World After so you're not completely alone there? Hahaha. Her writing is awesome, but there are times it crosses over the "too angsty" zone.

4.) Sarah Dessen - I've yet to read her, too. So many authors I'm missing out. Boo!

5.) Sarah Ockler - I need to start reading her, too. I read somewhere her books are very very wonderful. You and I are missing out!!

6.) Kendare Blake - you *need* to read her Anna Dressed in Blood. This duology is one of the most creepy and insanely good I've read. I hope you like it! (And tweet your screams, errr, feels, for us ;D )

7.) Karen Marie Moning - ugh... so many people loved this one, and I tried her Darkfever and I felt like punching a puppy and I LOVE PUPPIES!!! The main character is a TSTL heroine who'd stupidly want to go outside despite having her life almost decimated because of the same decision. And the love interest? ABUSER ALERT.

8.) David Levithan - He sounds compelling yeah, but for some reason I don't feel like reading him. I'm not sure why .-. is it because it's so hyped? lol. I never got this problem before >_<

9.) Courtney Summers - I don't remember much from This Is Not a Test but even if there were minimal romance, it was still a pretty good read. I suggest trying it out either way! :D

10.) Brigid Kemmerer - you haven't read this one yet?!?! WHYYYYYYY?!?!?! Despite the annoying love interests, she writes one of the best male voices in YA!! You need to read this one soon, missy! For me, please? HAHA

AWESOME POST. AND I REALLY SUGGEST READING BRIGID KEMMERER SO YOU CAN JOIN RASHIKA AND I FOR A FEELSFEST!!!

Faye @ The Social PotatoFaye M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01482378962410177583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-58669715468202321962014-03-06T02:46:05.701+02:002014-03-06T02:46:05.701+02:00It seems like a lot of people haven't read Joh...It seems like a lot of people haven't read John Green, so you're in good company! :-) Can't wait to hear what you think of TFIOS and the Elementals series. I was a latecomer to that series too, but am really loving it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-64352054913238798462014-03-05T16:58:54.242+02:002014-03-05T16:58:54.242+02:00Besides John Green, Sarah Dessen, and Sarah Ockler...Besides John Green, Sarah Dessen, and Sarah Ockler, I haven't read any of these authors either so YOU ARE NOT ALONE, SIIRI! It's funny because a lot of these popular authors are on a lot of these lists so it makes me question how popular they are, you know? I only have read TFiOS for Green, I tried reading another book of his and didn't like it. But TFiOS is really good! I really adored the one Ockler book I've read, Bittersweet.

I have read Riordan. The PJ series has highs and lows, but ends well. I think I liked Heroes of Olympus more, but haven't continued.

Thanks for sharing! She has some books that are much more raved about than that one too I think she's the one who wrote 20 Boy Summer, too. And gah you so have to read some Courtney Summers! She's an auto-buy author for me. I also had a lot of fun with the Fever series by KMM! Trust me I know you're gonna love Fever series. Just survive the first one and it gets better, MUCH better. Trust me girl. Also Courtney Summers greatly portraits the teens and their minds, maybe sometimes adds to much drama, but you survive. :) Angelfall I mean Raffe girl. You MUST meet Raffe! Trust me, your life needs him ;) You can thank me later, btw. Needless to say I forgot Brigid Kemmerer on my list (oops). The biggest challenge here is John Green. I loved, actually adored The Fault in Our Stars, but it seems to with movie and all of us who cried our hearts out for those character we kinda of created unrealistic expectations. Sorry :( But maybe if you manage to approach it with less expectations you'll love it. Amazing picks, Siiri :)Tanja - Tanychyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15084789780467257259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-38729581338887888802014-03-04T22:03:56.162+02:002014-03-04T22:03:56.162+02:00Oh mah goodness! I just bought the audio for The Book of Broken Hearts so I'll cross that one off soon. And TFiOS....I don't think I can do it. I hate crying and that book is just asking for it. I just can't quite bring myself to read him because he's been built up so much in my mind that I'm all nervous the bar is simply to high and he'll never meet it. *sigh* And I really, really can't wait for you to meet Barrons, though I have a feeling you will be underwhelmed when you first do so. Be patient Siiri, I think he'll grow on you! He's a complete and utter a-hole, I fully admit it, but there's just something about him that kind of draws you in regardless. I'm scared for you to read Darkfever though. Just stick with Mac Siiri, she and Barrons go through A LOT in the series, you have to stay with them to the end:)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199685365145765394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-20407836153418569932014-03-04T16:44:41.025+02:002014-03-04T16:44:41.025+02:00Susan Ee is a must read author, Siiri. I just can't wait to read it soon.
Also, Sarah Ockler! Read her Bittersweet novel and The Book of Broken Hearts. I loved those 2 but her latest one, #scandal, was an utter disaster. I couldn't believe it was Sarah who wrote it when I read it. To call it a disappointment would be an understatement.
Sarah Dessen also has some truly lovely books but her last one didn't work for me. I ended up DNFing it. :(
I haven't read John Green either and honestly, his books haven't appealed to me for some reason. I know everyone is in love with his books, but I don't know, they seem so dramatic you know?
Courtney Summers is another author I haven't read, but I will. Very soon. I own her book This is Not a Test.
Brigid Kemmerer is a fun author. I love her books because she goes into the characters so much.
Great post, Siiri!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8957870564580513499.post-11163089868729024352014-03-04T16:03:08.202+02:002014-03-04T16:03:08.202+02:00Love John Green, Susan Ee, and Karen Marie Moning!...Love John Green, Susan Ee, and Karen Marie Moning!
