It's been a great week for me with books. As good as it can be, because I started two books even though my workload at uni is crazy and I have no idea when I'll be finished with them, plus I need to get done with
The Burning Sky at one point. I don't know why, but I'm not in the mood to pick it up even though I'm about half way through. Eh, yeah.. I hope you guys in the US had a great thanksgiving and the rest of you are ready to say goodbye to November and welcome December tomorrow :) If you have read any of these pretties down below, let me know what you thought and I can't wait to visit you guys back.
Burn for Burn was actually the first book I reviewed for a big publisher. Back when I had like 20 something followers. Don't even ask why I got approved, it still feels a bit of a mystery. Heh. However, I really enjoyed it and
Fire with Fire, according to Amber [
Books of Amber], is even better and she said that our ship becomes real in this one. OHHH YES!!! Plus, it's one of the prettiest things I've ever held in my hands. It's freaking gorgeous! And HUGE *__*
Also, dear followers, if you want to win yourself a paperback of Lola and the Boy Next Door, do give your luck a try over here. Good luck!
What did you get this week? Leave your links below and I'll check out your goodies :)
Oh girl you've got World After!! I'm so happy for you. I've read it recently and I'm telling you it's amazing. I hope you'll get to read it soon. Also I need to read The Dream Thieves soon. I just need some time. Sadly I didn't enjoy Burn for Burn that much - the whole revenge idea was ruining it for me. I hope you'll enjoy it. Great haul, Siiri :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you love World After. I have heard good and bad on that one. happy reading.
ReplyDeleteAdorkable is wonderful! Happy reading.

Nice haul, I have been wanting to read this series for a long time, The Dream Thieves (The Raven Boys #2) by Maggie Stiefvater. Hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteas for Poison Princess i hope I love it too because I am a huge fan of her adult series. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm so curious about world after I see this one everywhere! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of whether or not I should buy World After. I saw it on B&N's website for a really cheap price, but I'm still not sure. I'm just not a big fan of paranormal/fantasy books. I hope you end up liking The Dream Thieves because it wasn't really my cup of tea. Fire With Fire looks really interesting, and I heard a lot of rave about it. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteEeek! Dream Thieves! I just adore Maggie Stiefvater! Her writing is incredible...and the characters? Yup. Love.

All of these look amazing!! I actually requested Burn for Burn and was rejected so thumbs up for getting approved :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Check out my STS!
I absolutely LOVED The Dream Thieves and World After is such a stunning sequel. Also, Adorkable is fantastic - Manning is one of my favorite authors out there. Enjoy your books! :D
ReplyDeleteI got Adorkable recently, must get on it. And I need to start reading Stiefvater as well, people keep praising the author. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
My books
Siiri I loved Fire with Fire, it was actually one of my favourite reads of the year! Han and Vivian weaved such an intricate plot, but also pulled out all the stops with the emotions. You'll have to let me know when you get started on it, so I can stalk your updates (It's not like I don't already!) World After was also a solid follow up book for me! I hope you enjoy your pretties! :)
ReplyDeleteNice haul! I really need to buy myself Angelfall and World After - I keep hearing so many wonderful things about that series! I hope you enjoy all your reads. My STS.
ReplyDeleteCool stack. Happy reading :)

Nice book haul, Siiri! I have a few of Han's books, but haven't read them. I do want to read Fire for Fire.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Loved The Dream Thieves, Siiri! I hope you do, too. I think I'll hold off on reading World After because of the long waits in between books. I read the first one and it took 2 years to get the third one. Enjoy your books, Siiri! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome haul! My copy of Fire with Fire is still collecting dust amongst my book stacks, unfortunately. And ah, The Dream Thieves looks so gorgeous. I hope I can pick it up along with The Raven Boys soon. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my StS! :D

Ahhhhhhh!!!!! You got World After Siiri! I can't wait to get my hands on that one, I don't know why I haven't ordered that bad boy from Amazon yet. I need to do that. I miss my Raffe! I can't wait to see what you think! *waits patiently for you to read and review* :)
ReplyDeleteI have both Burn For Burn and World After, but I still need to read the first books! It sounds like you're not loving The Burning Sky. I hope it gets better for you (or perhaps it already has, if you've already finished.) :)
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ Inspiring Insomnia
Fire with Fire looks good, hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI missed buying paperbacks but I just can't or else my mother would throw a feat. I also got World After on the day of its release. Seriously, I really need to bump up the Angelfall series on my TBR list. I already have the two books but never got around to reading them.
ReplyDeleteTut, tut, tut... The woes of a reader. Hahaha.
Have a great week. And thanks for stopping by Thoughts and Pens.
