Waiting on Wednesday #14

"Waiting on" Wednesday is hosted at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating

This week we have:
  1. Frankie's Monster by Rae Hachton
  2. Hard to Resist by Sharona Williams

Title: Frankie's Monster
Author: Rae Hachton
Release Date: February 14th 2013
Add it: Goodreads

Why? I read Rae's Pretty in Black series' first book and I actually quite enjoyed it. It was interesting, original and surprisingly gothic and mysterious. Romantic as well. I want to read the rest of the books in that series, but since they're not all published yet and I don't want to wait between books if I have that opportunity, I'm going to read this instead. It's ironic (and probably on purpose) that it comes out on Valentine's day. It sounds awesome and I'm sure Rae will, again, turn this book upside down and we will see originality she always brings with her books.

Title: Hard to Resist
Author: Sharona Williams
Release Date: February 21st 2013
Add it: Goodreads

Why? This cover is hawwttt!!! I like it;) The stroy sounds good as well. After reading too many issue books and constantly picking up one fantasy book after another, I sometimes crave for an easy read that causes butterflies and brings a smile on my face. While this book seems to deal with cheating (and dumping the cheater in the beginning of the book) and trust issues, it also seems like an easy read and I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy it.

What do you think? Are these books on your TBR pile? Would you be interested in reading them? Leave your WoW links in the comments and I'll check out your picks :)

  3. Oooo that cover for Hard to Resist IS hot. I need to read it immediately. I don't do well with cheating in books at all, unless one of the characters has been cheated on by someone other than the person they end up with, which seems like it's the case here. If the hero or heroine cheated on the other person and they try to work through that and end up together, that's when I have issues. Cheating is a deal breaker for me, real-life or fiction! Looking forward to your review Siiri!

    1. The only book I've enjoyed which includes cheating on a bf as a plotline is Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. Mostly because this book had Mr. Kellan Kyle (the sexiest rockstar in books ever!!), but other than that I don't enjoy these kind of books either. Luckily for us, this one is about a girl who dumps the cheater and moves on to better things;)
