Waiting on Wednesday #15

"Waiting on" Wednesday is hosted at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating

This week we have:
  1. The Murmurings by Carly Anne West
  2. Depths by Steph Campbell and Liz Reinhardt

Title: The Murmurings
Author:  Carly Anne West
Release Date: March 5th 2013
Add it: Goodreads

Why? The synopsis and that cover just creep me out, but I'm more than sure that this book will be interesting and mysterious. Probably horrifying as well. I usually like my books spiced with a touch of romance, it doesn't have to be all Harlequin, but it doesn't hurt in my eyes to have something to swoon about. However, if a book is strong enough with its story and characters, sometimes it proves to be better without romance and this seems like one of those cases.

Title: Depths (Lengths #2)
Author: Steph Campbell, Liz Reinhardt
Release Date: March 2013
Add it: Goodreads

Why? Okay, so since The Murmurings doesn't have a romance (most likely), then I chose a contemporary romance book that I'm really excited about. I read Lengths and even though I wasn't completely in love with it, I really enjoyed it and I cannot wait to read about Theo's sexy best friend Cohen. Also, how could I possibly resist a book that has someone named Cohen as a character? Seth Cohen is forever my boy and since I don't have time to re-watch The O.C., then I'm just gonna have to settle with this funny, cute and 100 degrees hot surfer boy who I hope has a secret really nerdy side to him;)

What do you think? Are these books on your TBR pile? Would you be interested in reading them? Leave your WoW links in the comments and I'll check out your picks :)

  3. I'm not sure I can handle The Murmurings Siiri! I'm such a wimp when it comes to anything creepy/scary, so I'll probably read this one and then my husband will come home to find me curled up in the fetal position rocking back and forth. Awesome. Also, I love a good contemporary romance, so I'm excited for Depths too!
