Haven't done a cover reveal in ages. Last one was last spring/summer? No? I don't even remember. Anyhow, this book (and the authors) just demands your attention. I mean, look at the title and the synopsis! I can't wait to devour this gorgeous thing, dance around and shout my love. Because I'm 98.3% sure that's how it's going down in December. Sooo le twins have a new book coming out and it's a NA Standalone contemporary romance novel and today I have the pleasure to show you the prettiness Krista has come up with *sprinkles glitter all over her and stares in awe*

(Shhh. Don't tell anyone, but Krista finished Hogwarts at the top of her class and I think can all agree that there's pure magic on all the Addicted and Calloway sisters covers she has designed, so I'm not surprised I love this cover too :)) Without further ado, here's the lovely cover.

Cover Reveal: Hothouse Flower by Krista and Becca Ritchie

Have you guys seen the cover for Krista and Becca's new NA story about Ryke? He's such a cool dude and if you've read Addicted to You, you know all about him already ;) Let's just say that he is a wonderful addition to the cast of these awesome characters and I can't wait to read his story. This is a stand-alone, by the way. And here's the pretty cover and the synopsis:

Title: Hothouse Flowerby
Authors: Krista RitchieBecca Ritchie
Release Date: February 2014
Cover reveal organized by: YA-Bound

Ryke Meadows, meet Daisy Calloway ... she’s all grown up.
Twenty-five-year-old Ryke Meadows knows he’s hard to love. With a billion-dollar inheritance, a track-star resume, and an alpha-male personality—he redefines the term likable asshole. But he’s not living to make friends. Or enemies. After months helping his brother through rehab and sobriety, he just wants to free climb three of the toughest mountains in Yosemite without drama or interruption.
And then he receives a distressed call from a girl in Paris—a girl that he has never been allowed to have.
Daisy Calloway is eighteen. Finally. With her newfound independence, she can say goodbye to her overbearing mother and continue her modeling career. Next stop, Paris. Fashion week begins with a bang, and Daisy uncovers the ugly reality of the industry. She wants to prove to her family that she can live on her own, but when everything spirals out of control, she turns to Ryke to keep her secrets.
As Daisy struggles to make sense of this new world and her freedom, she pushes the limits and fearlessly rides the edge. Ryke knows there’s deep hurt beneath every impulsive action. He must keep up with Daisy, and if he lets her go, her favorite motto—“live as if you’ll die today”—may just come true.
Standalone New Adult Romance: recommended for readers 18+ for mature content

I think that the cover is pretty darn sexy. I don't know if the colours are all what I imagined them to be for Ryke's story, but they don't bother me either. Doesn't the guy remind you a little of that guy who played Allie's other love interest in The Notebook? No? He does to me. What do you guys think of the cover? Are you excited to read this stand alone? Have you already read Addicted to You? Did you enjoy it?

Cover Reveal: Greed (and Vain) by Fisher Amelie

You guys! I am one of those bad, boring people who hasn't read Vain yet even though I own a copy. I am so excited about the cover reveal of Greed, nr 2 in the Seven Deadly Series by Fisher Amelie. I have heard so many amazing things about this series as well as her stories about Callum & Harper and Thomas & January. I own all of the 3 books from these which have been published so far so, tsk tsk tsk, I should get on them asap, right? ;-) Today I have the honour of presenting you the cover of Greed, also, there's a surprise! Since the covers HAVE to match (!! It's a m-u-s-t!!!!!!) then Vain has a new, gorgeous cover as well. Check them out and tell me what you think :-)

Title: Vain (Seven Deadly #1)
Author: Fisher Amelie
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Published: February 7th 2012
Add It: Goodreads
Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

If you’re looking for a story about a good, humble girl, who’s been hurt by someone she thought she could trust, only to find out she’s not as vulnerable as she thought she was and discovers an empowering side of herself that falls in love with the guy who helps her find that self, blah, blah, blah...then you’re gonna’ hate my story.
Because mine is not the story you read every time you bend back the cover of the latest trend novel. It’s not the “I can do anything, now that I’ve found you/I’m misunderstood but one day you’ll find me irresistible because of it” tale. Why? Because, if I was being honest with you, I’m a complete witch. There’s nothing redeeming about me. I’m a friend using, drug abusing, sex addict from Los Angeles. I’m every girlfriend’s worst nightmare and every boy’s fantasy.
I’m Sophie Price...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most envied girl to the girl no one wanted around and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Title: Greed (Seven Deadly #2)
Author: Fisher Amelie
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Published: Fall 2013
Add It: Goodreads

Gather ‘round, love, because I want you. I want what you have, I want what you don’t have, I want more of what I already have. I want. But if you so much as ask for something in return, go ahead and walk away. Know if you want to play in my world, it’s every man for themselves and the weak become mine. Leeches will be obliterated because I make it my job to destroy them. I protect what’s mine and I take what’s yours...because that’s what I do. I want.
My story will not endear me to you and, frankly, I could care less if it does because I’m in this for the money and nothing else. There’s nothing redeeming about me. I’m a corrupt, money hungry, immoral asshole from Los Angeles. I’m every man’s worst nightmare and every girl’s fantasy.
I’m Spencer Blackwell...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most coveted guy to the guy no one wanted around and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

I think they're gorgeous! I love the coloring on both of them and I like how minimalistic they are. What do you guys think? Have you read Vain already? What did you thought of it?

Cover Reveal: Unafraid by Melody Grace

I read the first book in this series when it came out this spring and it was pretty well written, I must admit. I liked the emotions Unbroken brought out in me and let's face it! Re-connection stories are some of my favorites:) It's very suitable for the summer season, too. It's light, fast-paced and perfect for a day in beach. I'm happy to show you the cover of the second book in this series Unafraid. I hope you like it.

Title: Unafraid (Beachwood Bay #2)
Author: Melody Grace
Published: August 25th
Add it: Goodreads

"The first time I saw her, I knew this girl was wilder than any stallion I’d ever trained. She was headstrong, wounded, passionate and free. And I had to have her…"

Brittany Ray doesn’t care about her bad reputation. Growing up in a sleepy beach town with a junkie mom and a runaway dad, Brit’s learned the hard way that the people you love will only let you down. It’s no use hoping for love or happiness. Some dreams aren’t meant for girls like her.

Hunter Covington is one of those dreams.

Gorgeous, charming Hunter is damn near perfect—and it’s killing him. Son of Charleston royalty, he’s been trapped in a gilded cage since the day he was born. Now he’s breaking free. He’s quit law school to restore his grandpa’s old horse ranch, trying to soothe the demons in his soul. But Beachwood Bay is full of old ghosts, like the mysterious girl who spent an unforgettable night with him—and then slipped away before dawn. Brit.

Everything about her screams danger, but Hunter doesn’t care: he’s never felt a connection so deep. And try as she may, Brit can’t resist the desire consuming her —or the safety she finds in Hunter’s arms.

A reckless passion. An undeniable bond. Scarred by their pasts, Brit and Hunter fight to heal old wounds. But will dark secrets tear apart their new beginning? And when love is the biggest risk of all, can they find the courage to face the future unafraid?

I like the cover. It's not maybe as perfect as Unbroken was, but it's definitely suitable with the theme that this series has. Also, it takes place near water so water and the lighthouse behind the couple is perfect. By the way, doesn't the girl remind you a little og Sophia Bush? Maybe I'm imagining it. The guy looks a little like James Lafferty which brings me all kinds of awkward thoughts about Brooke and Nathan. Oh, well.. Now I want to watch One Tree Hill again. *sigh* Anyhow, what do you guys think of the cover? ;) Have you read the first book? Did you like it? Would you pick this companion novel up?

Cover Reveal: See Me by Wendy Higgins

Have you read the amazingness that is Sweet Evil? I have and let me tell you, that series is by far one of the most original and best out there! I'm glad to announce, even though most of you probably know this news already, that Wendy is publishing a new book. It's awesome that she asked fans to help her with writing (critique) and also gave us a little sneak peek by telling us what the story is/isn't about. You can view that post here. Today is all about Wendy and See Me. I'm happy to share this gorgeous cover with you. Eeek!

Title: See Me
Auhtor: Wendy Higgins
Published: October 1st 2013
Genre: YA Romance and Magical Realism with a dash of Fantasy
**Story will be available in ebook from Amazon, B&N, and Kobo for $3.99, and paperback will be for sale through Amazon and Createspace for $10.99. It will not be available for preorder. This book is being self-published by the author and her agent.

The blurb

While most seventeen-year-old American girls would refuse to let their parents marry them off to a stranger, Robyn Mason dreams of the mysterious McKale in Ireland, wondering how he’ll look and imagining his cute Irish accent. Prearranged bindings are common for magical families like her own, however when she travels to the whimsical Emerald Isle she discovers there’s more to her betrothal and McKale’s clan than she could have imagined.

What starts as an obligatory pairing between Robyn and McKale morphs over time into something they both need. But one giant obstacle stands the way of their budding romance: a seductive and deadly Fae princess accustomed to getting what she wants—and what she wants is McKale as her plaything. Love, desire, and jealousies collide as Robyn’s family and McKale’s clan must work together to outsmart the powerful Faeries and preserve the only hope left for their people.
Add to goodreads.

Tadaaaaa!!! I'm sure Kai wouldn't mind if I borrowed a very smexy pronouncation of the word love from him, so here goes: I LUV THIS COVAAAHHHH!! It's so pretty. The girl is cute, the cover is alluring and I like the colours. Also, it doesn't give you the hint of a fairy book, but at the same time it does. Doesn't green remind you of fairies? It does to me. I want this book so bad! I'll read everything Wendy writes and this will be no exception. What do you think of the cover and the blurb? Are you excited? :)

***Excerpt (Caben’s POV)***

The Crusher grinds to a halt. I’m propelled forward, and my head smacks the low-hanging ceiling of the front compartment.

“Damn, you fool!” I palm my throbbing forehead, eyeing the driver of the Crusher—the machines I now call by their Otherworlder name.

“Sorry, my liege,” he says, backing against his seat, farther away from the glowing ribbons circling my fingers.

Ignoring him, I study the luminous white—like the surface of the moon—crawling beneath my skin, and marvel at the power. My power. Had I possessed it that day the Cavan Army forced me from my home, they never could have done so easily. But then, I never would have obtained this power. Ironic.

“Just drive,” I tell him. I take a seat on the front bench, away from the foul stench emanating from the back compartment—our diversion tactic that will gain me entry into my palace, where I know she’s being kept.

The glow beneath my skin illuminates brighter, reminding me of her skin. I curl my fingers into a tight ball.

The battle up ahead is only part of my plan, one that I know Kaliope will fall for. I need the reserves away from the palace. Then we’ll take care of her Nactue once we’re inside. My back molars clamp down hard at the thought of her—a mix of something like fire and nausea invading my stomach.

At one time, I felt things for the black-haired beauty. I chuckle to myself. Well, at least my groin did. Just thinking of her body makes me ache, and I have to adjust myself. But that was when I was weak, when I only thought and felt with that weakness. As much as I hated my father for thinking me too feeble to rule, he was right. I was pathetic.

Bale freed me. Released the part of me that I kept buried, locked away deep down, and I no longer fear anything. I think of everything that once made me shudder or quake with dread and laugh. It’s so simple.

Without fear, there is only freedom.

Power.

And if I free Bale completely, releasing her from within my being and making her corporeal, she’ll bestow me with even more power. I don’t care what the dark goddess does or where she goes once I restore Empress Iana’s relic. I don’t give a damn what happens to the maggoty Otherworlders or their realm.

I just want her out of my mind. And I want the power.

Then I’ll set my sights on Perinya, and on gaining what’s mine.

A deep cackle fills my head, deep and sultry.

“Quiet, woman.” I roll my eyes. We’ve come to a compromise, the goddess and I, that she may remain within my mind, but she’s to keep quiet. I got tired of her constant lectures and angry rants about her sisters. She does stay silent…for the most part. But the sooner I get her out of my head, the better.

Having a woman fill your thoughts is a weakness in itself. A sudden flash of a smiling, laughing Kal blurs my vision, and I shake my head.

There’s only one way to rid my thoughts of that woman.

Kill her.

“Burrow, leach,” I command the driver. “We’re coming up on the battle. Go underground.”

“Yes, my liege.”

Tonight, I plot. Find a way into the capital of Perinya and into my home. And then take back what’s mine. The goddess can have what she wants. I’m only interested in claiming what’s mine.

No one will ever take anything away from me again.

Don’t get in my way, Kal.

I shake my head harder, trying to quiet the pesky thoughts that always spring up when I think of her. Something left over from before—a residual feeling, an effect she has on me.

It won’t be there much longer. I smile, and Bale laughs.

***

In the sand-covered queendom of Cavan, the goddess once saved a young Kaliope’s life, preventing the mercury her father attempted to hide in her blood from reaching her heart. Now, a cybernetic clamp filters it, but the silver streaks swirling faintly beneath her skin are a constant reminder that she’s different.
When nineteen-year-old Kaliope is chosen as head of the Nactue Guard, she becomes the sworn protector to her empress. In the midst of an invasion on a neighboring land, Kaliope is placed in charge of guarding Prince Caben, the last heir to his kingdom. But when they’re attacked by the feared Otherworlders, Caben and Kaliope are abducted and taken below to a realm where they must fight for their life in a caged arena.
Kaliope struggles to protect her princely charge, keeping him and herself alive while battling inhumanly opponents, and trying to save the stolen, sacred relic that will restore her empress’s life force and all of Cavan. And if she can somehow awaken the goddess within her, she may save what’s most important.
New Adult Dark Fantasy: Intended for readers 17 years of age and older.

It doesn't happen often that fellow bloggers as known as these two lovely girls from the Nawada Files are publishing one's own book. Krista and Becca are brave enough, braver than me at least, to start their own journey as authors and I'm glad to be a part of this by revealing the cover of their novel Addicted to You. The cover was designed by Hafsah from Icey Designs.

Title: Addicted to You (Addicted #1)

Two addictions. One lie.
No one would suspect shy, Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.
Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.
But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again.
Now the only person who can truly help her, can barely help himself.

My thoughts

What do you think of it? For me it wasn't even a question - as soon as I saw the description for their debut novel, I knew it was something I wanted to read. The cover is gorgeous as well. I like it! The girl is really pretty (and kinda sad and compelling), the coloring is well chosen and there is, indeed, something addictive about the cover, isn't there?

Also, Krista and Becca were lovely enough to offer you all a giveaway of a New Adult book of your choice. It's possible to receive your prize from The Book Depository so all international entries are welcome as long as TBD ships to you. Good luck lovelies!

I liked the first cover from this series and I like the second one as well. The intimacy and love definitely shows. I like the colours and the minimalism.  If I were to choose my favorite out of the two covers from this series, I'd choose the first one, but not because I don't like the one for I Choose You, but mostly because the first one is black and white. But I do like this cover and hopefully the novella will be as sweet as the cover:)

I liked the first cover quite a lot actually. Since the story was quite dark at times, that yellow sunshiny cover gave me hope that it'll have beautiful, bright and sweet moments as well. It sure didn't disappoint. This cover is more intimate and Michael is pretty much exactly like I envisioned him. Also, the neutral coloring is right up my alley and I'm really glad this is the new cover for this gorgeous book that touched me deeply.

Published: February, 2013
Add It: Goodreads

Best friends since kindergarten, Adam and Christy have always been the perpetual outsiders in their small town in Texas.  The other kids call Adam gay and Christy a witch.

On both counts the bullies are right.

Their junior year in high school seems destined to be the same old same old until Christy decides to cast a love spell for Adam at the midnight hour. The next day an alluring and mysterious boy enrolls at school and sets hearts a flutter, including Adam’s. Meanwhile, Christy’s mad crush on the handsome football player Ian seems to be going nowhere fast and her witch puberty is making her life miserable.

When a great evil arrives in town that threatens everything they hold dear, the best friends realize that finding a boyfriend is the least of their worries. Soon Adam and Christy will have to battle a force of darkness that has killed in their town before, and will again.

I'm not exactly sure how I feel about the cover, but the story sounds awesome so I'm definitely adding this to my evergrowing TBR pile.

Cover Reveal: Release (Protector #3) by M.R. Merrick.

Yep, I'm way behind with this, since M.R. Merrick emailed us a few days ago, but I really, really haven't had the time to write this post. So here I am, trying to redeem myself by saying that I absolutely LOVE this cover! And I mean it. I do. It's mysterious, thrilling, beautiful, has great coloring and promises you a journey full of fantasy and danger. I think it's stunning. What do you guys think of it?

Title: Release (Protector #3)
Author: M.R. Merrick
Published: December 10th 2012
After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.
Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father.

Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.

One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.
