Giveaway: Celebrating 1 year anniversary of Lengths by Steph Campbell and Liz Reinhardt

I read Lengths last year /you can read my review here) and I think it's one of those books that suits perfectly for summer. It's got a gorgeous ocean, two beautiful main characters, a cast of awesome side characters and a bit drama. So what're ya'll waiting for *tries to make a southern accent* Go, get it! :) It's on sale all weekend (8/9 through 8/11) for 0.99 :)

Title: Lengths
Author: Liz Reinhardt, Steph Campbell
Release Date: August 9th 2012
Add it: Goodreads
Purchase: Amazon Barnes & Noble

Nineteen-year-old Whit Conrad leaves her conservative Pennsylvania home for sunny California, looking for independence, a fresh start, and a place to stash her grief. She promptly finds a job at a tattoo parlor, a craptastic first apartment, and one friend—Ryan—who is a little less friend, a little more benefits.

Deo Beckett is a soulful surfer with a passion for tattoos and beautiful women. On the eve of his twenty-second birthday, he finds himself living with his grandfather, recently unemployed, and seriously adrift. He doesn’t know much about what he wants out of life, but he does know his current situation isn't cutting it.

When Deo meets Whit, she’s all sexy makeup and fierce, smart-ass fun. It doesn’t take him long to see past her tough shell. And when he gets a good look at what's under all the superficial stuff that usually gets his attention, it leaves Deo wondering if there might be more to life than living fast and free.

Too bad Whit has a past she doesn't plan on sharing—no matter how hot Deo is. She might want him, but she knows better than to let her guard down.

Deo falls for Whit, and falls hard. But everything about her, down to that mysterious tattoo and the way she thrashes in her sleep, tells him that the girl he loves is hiding something. And the more he pushes for answers, the more Whit pulls away.

Having your guard up is one thing, but are the lengths Whit goes to to protect her secret worth throwing away the second chance she has at happiness with Deo?

Meet the authors

Liz Reinhardt

Liz Reinhardt was born and raised in the idyllic beauty of northwest NJ. A move to the subtropics of coastal Georgia with her daughter and husband left her with a newly realized taste for the beach and a bloated sunscreen budget. Right alongside these new loves is her old, steadfast affection and longing for bagels and the fast-talking foul mouths of her youth.
She loves Raisinettes, even if they aren't really candy, the Oxford comma, movies that are hilarious or feature zombies, any and all books, but especially romance (the smarter and hotter, the better), the sound of her daughter's incessantly wise and entertaining chatter, and watching her husband work on cars in the driveway.
She is the author of the Brenna Blixen series (Double Clutch, Junk Miles, Slow Twitch), the Youngblood series (Fall Guy, Perfectly Unmatched), and co-writes with the awesome Steph Campbell in the Lengths series (Lengths, Depths, Limits, Ties, Riptides).

  5. I haven't read it yet, but would love to. I can definitely relate to wanting to become someone different than who you were raised to be (or maybe it's called just being yourself!). This sounds like a good read :)

  6. My browser didn't properly load your blog at first and it showed your header in a completely different font and I was like AH BUT SIIRI YOUR LAYOUT IS SO PRETTY. But you didn't change it, so yay!!

Lol at the southern accent attempt. I use y'all but not as a sign of that :). Mostly as an attempt not to use hey guys or hey folks.

Siiri, it is not proper for you to encourage me to buy this book when we're on a book buying ban. Even when it's only 0.99. Even when it's a summer read that you recommend. Even when the buying links are easily accessible... Guh.

    1. *laughs* I love your comments! Haha. I think it's just one of those light reads where you can have fun and a bit swoon you know:) It has a littl bit of drama, but, a year later, I actually don't remember what the drama was about because I remember all of those lovely, sweet, adorable moments. I want a re-read before I jump into the rest of the books in this series:) Ha, and thanks! It means a lot that you think my layout is pretty:) I've tried to make it as much me as possible with minimal coding and basically not much at all :D haha. I suck when it comes to anything related to electronics :D

  7. I had to get out my winter duvet last night as it was surprisingly chilly again after all the heat that we've had over here the last few weeks. But I suppose there is always time to squeeze in another summer read. ;) And god knows I've been craving one! Thanks so much for sharing, Siiri.
