Book Haul #32

I feel like I'm getting better at writing these posts. No long intro needed this week, because I really want to get on with it and show you all my books because I'm so exciteeeeddd about them :) If you have read any, let me know what you thought and be sure to leave your links below :) Have a great weekend, lovelies! x

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
How to Love by Katie Cotugno
White Hot Kiss (The Dark Elements #1) by Jenninfer L. Armentrout
On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street #1) by Samantha Young (already read last summer, review here)
Vortex (Tempest #2) by Julie Cross
Tempest (Tempest #1) by Julie Cross

Then, yes, after all that book buying (yes, thank you Jasprit [The Reader's Den] for sending me that coupon *glares* my wallet has a whole in it but whatever, it's books. So in all seriousness thank youuuu :)) and even more is on the way in addition to the books on the first picture, so I am on a book buying ban, but you can't really argue with a sale, right? So I went to my local bookstore this week before going to work one day and some books were like 50% off and since everyone raves about Sarah Dessen then this was not even a question whether or not I'd purchase The Truth About Forever. It looks so pretty on my shelf and I can't wait to start it :)

Also, happy International Women's Day to all the lovely ladies out there! Our house is filled with some gorgeous flowers thanks to my dad and it's beautiful. With the sunny weather throughout the past week and the flowers I can easily feel that spring is really on its way :)

What did you get this week? Leave your links below and I'll check out your goodies :)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

  3. Those flowers are gorgeous! That was sweet of your dad to get you all those. :)
Eeep! I'm so excited for your book haul, Siiri. I can't wait to hear what you think of How to Love. I personally loved it but I know a ton of people had issues with it.
Yay for The Eternity Cure. I haven't read the second book yet because I heard it ends in a brutal cliffhanger, so I'm waiting for the last book to come out already, so I can get to it.
    Enjoy your pretties!

I still haven't read anything by Sarah Dessen... so I'll jump on that bandwagon someday.. like when I come across 50% sale :P :P

  6. LOVE these books Siiri! So many beautiful copies, aren't Hardback the best! You never want to get rid of them. I have just put my review of Be With Me up and I truly love it. Even as a recent fan of JLA I feel I need to read all her books. Which reminds me I need buy Trust In Me actually. I really enjoyed What's Left of Me, its such a refreshing novel. I hope you enjoy all of your books. :)

  7. I SO want to read Cruel Beauty! I mean, I've heard mixed things about it, but that kind of whets my appetite to read it more than turns me off. ;) Except the names look a bit difficult. That's a gorgeous cover on the Sarah Dessen book!

  11. You got some great books this week! I got White Hot Kiss last week and am really looking forward to reading it. I have heard great things about On Dublin Street, but still haven't gotten around ot buying it. I own the first book in the Blood of Eden series by Julia Kagawa, but I am so busy with review books at the moment I still haven't had time to read it. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great weekend!

  12. CRUEL BEAUTY! YES. Oh, no, no, no The Eternity Cure (seriously, I read it last year and I've been waiting for The Forever Song for what seems like YEARS. Killer cliffhanger to go with a serious book hangover.) You really can't argue with a sale, especially if it's up to 50% off, which I learned last week. Money just immediately disappeared...it's funny how they do that, right? ;)

  16. I'm sorry Siiri!! But look at all those pretties, you seriously have some amazing books to look forward to, The Eternity Cure is one of my all time favourite reads and did you see Kagawa post that the final book The Forever Song will be up on NetGalley tomorrow? So your book really couldn't have come at a sooner time and I promise to be here for you whilst reading this (to hold your hand or give you a hug if necessary). Tempest is another book which I can't wait to read, I know Jenny really loved this book and it's follow up too. I hope you enjoy all your pretties my lovely! And your dad is just the best!

  17. Love those flowers! And Happy Women's day girl

You got some great books (: I recently read an very disappointing time travel book. I have read the tempest series though and it's about one million times better. With each book the tempest series improves and gets more complex. I loved it and I feel like it doesn't get enough love. Cruel Beauty was also amazing! So is The Eternity Cure. There's an painful cliffhanger in that one. I really can't wait for the next book in the series ahhhh.

  18. How sweet of your dad to bring home flowers!

You have quite some haul here, Siiri. I loved On Dublin Street, even if Joss did try my patience at times, Braden made up for it to me. :) I loved The Truth About Forever but I think Just Listen is my favorite Dessen read. I can't wait to see what you think. Happy reading my dear! :)

  19. The Truth About Forever still remains one of my favourite Dessen books! Next to This Lullaby and Along For The Ride, I think it's one of her best. Cannot WAIT to see if you love it as much as I do!!

  20. Nice haul. I've seen Tempest and Vortex a lot lately, have been tempted to give that series a try. I hope you enjoy your books :) My STS.

  21. You're getting better at writing these, while I on the other hand am the book example of failure when it comes to book haul posts. I've just downloaded The Forever Song from NG and I'm going wild girl! :D WILD I tell you. Anyhow truly hope you'll enjoy Sarah's book and that cover is so pretty. I should check at local bookstore if they have it as they do have those little penguin editions :) Cruel Beauty was AMAZING! I cannot wait for you to read it. I wasn't such fan of How to Love, but I have issues with the topic. Great haul, Siiri :)
