Cover Reveal: Release (Protector #3) by M.R. Merrick.

Yep, I'm way behind with this, since M.R. Merrick emailed us a few days ago, but I really, really haven't had the time to write this post. So here I am, trying to redeem myself by saying that I absolutely LOVE this cover! And I mean it. I do. It's mysterious, thrilling, beautiful, has great coloring and promises you a journey full of fantasy and danger. I think it's stunning. What do you guys think of it?

Title: Release (Protector #3)
Author: M.R. Merrick
Published: December 10th 2012
After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.
Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father.

Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.

One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.

Movie trailer: Beautiful Creatures by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia

I've read the first book, tried reading the sequel (didn't finish, because I felt too depressed by Ethan's inner monologue, but I will give this book a second try at some point.. I really want to..) and this movie will definitely be marked on my calendar at the beginning of 2013. I wasn't aware that the trailer was already out and if you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out! It looks amazing! Is it weird that I like this better than the book? The movie isn't even out yet, but I'm excited. Look for me in the queues after it's been introduced to the masses, because I will be standing in the line, waiting to see this. Yes, count me in!

The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not.
Olivia Townsend is nothing special.  She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business.  She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple.  Black and white.
But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport.  They’re brothers.  Twins.
Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy.  He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost.  He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her.
Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy.  He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate.  But he’s taken.  Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin.  That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though.  With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.
Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can.  But it’s too late to run.  Olivia’s already involved.  And in love.  With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble.  Both brothers set her body on fire.  She wants them both. And they want her.
How will she ever choose between them?
The author is giving away 1 (one) eBook copy of her NY Times Bestseller "The Wild Ones". Feel free to participate and good luck!

Cover Reveal: Just For Now (Sea Breeze #4) by Abbi Glines

Just For Now is a New Adult novel by Abbi Glines from her Sea Breeze series. I love her books and this is a very anticipated read. I can't wait to get my hands on this book! I tweeted with Abbi today and she said that the release date was actually pushed forward since it was originally supposed to come out at the end of November. I cannot express how glad I was to hear this and I'm so freaking happy to share the cover with you, guys.

Title: Just For Now (Sea Breeze #4)
Author: Abbi Glines
Age Group/Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 23, 2012
Add It: Goodreads
Trailer: Youtube

The day Preston Drake figured out that wealthy women paid well for a set of tight abs and a pretty face his life turned around.

The run down rat-infested trailer he had shared his alcoholic mother and three younger siblings was now only a place he visited to pay the bills and stock the pantry with good.
He no longer worried about his family starving or living without electricity. The money he made entertaining rich older women more than covered his family's needs and his own. He had it all figured out. Except...

There was this girl.

She was as innocent as he was tainted.

Amanda Hardy wished her knees didn't get weak when Preston walked into a room. She hated the fact her heart raced when he flashed his smile in her direction. He had a different girl in his bed every night. He was the kind o boy a smart girl ran from. So, why was she coming up with ways to get close to him? Even when it was obvious he wanted to keep her at a distance.

Maybe her heart knew something the world didn't. Maybe Preston Drake was more than just a pretty face.
My thoughts: I like the covers in this series. I think they're all spot on and this is such a sweet, youthful, happy cover. I really like the font of the title and even though I think using different fonts on the cover is a big no-no, it actually looks great! They compliment each other and don't give the cover an odd mash-up feeling. The cover definitely promises you sweetness, happiness and emotion and that's what Abbi is famous for. I'm digging this cover a lot and I like that it gives the reader a hint of a more mature content than YA. I think the cover is fab and suits for a book in this series perfectly.

Meet the author

Abbi Glines can be found hanging out with rockstars, taking out her yacht on weekends for a party cruise, sky diving, or surfing in Maui. Okay maybe she needs to keep her imagination focused on her writing only. In the real world, Abbi can be found hauling kids (several who seem to show up that don’t belong to her) to all their social events, hiding under the covers with her MacBook in hopes her husband won’t catch her watching Buffy on Netflix again, and sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to spend hours lost in the yummy goodness of books. If you want to find her then check Twitter first because she has a severe addiction to tweeting @abbiglines.   Facebook is also somewhere she visits a little too often. She blogs regularly but rarely about anything life changing. She also really enjoys talking about herself in third person.
