Haven't done a cover reveal in ages. Last one was last spring/summer? No? I don't even remember. Anyhow, this book (and the authors) just demands your attention. I mean, look at the title and the synopsis! I can't wait to devour this gorgeous thing, dance around and shout my love. Because I'm 98.3% sure that's how it's going down in December. Sooo le twins have a new book coming out and it's a NA Standalone contemporary romance novel and today I have the pleasure to show you the prettiness Krista has come up with *sprinkles glitter all over her and stares in awe*
(Shhh. Don't tell anyone, but Krista finished Hogwarts at the top of her class and I think can all agree that there's pure magic on all the Addicted and Calloway sisters covers she has designed, so I'm not surprised I love this cover too :)) Without further ado, here's the lovely cover.
Authors: Krista & Becca Ritchie
Expected Publication Date: December 12th 2014
Genre: New Adult Romance
Add it: Goodreads
Love is a circus
"Every day,” he says lowly, “I hold a person’s life in my hands. The circus is based one-hundred percent off of trust. I give it all to someone, and they give it all to me.”
The best aerial technique won’t land 21-year-old Thora James her dream role in Amour—a sexy new acrobatic show on the Vegas strip. Thora knows she’s out of her element the second she meets Amour’s leading performer. Confident, charming and devilishly captivating, 26-year-old Nikolai Kotova aggravatingly lives up to his nickname as the “God of Russia.”
When Thora unknowingly walks into the crosshairs of Nikolai’s after-show, her audition process begins way too soon. Unprofessional. That’s what Nik calls their “non-existent” relationship. It’s not like Thora can avoid him. For one, they may be partners in the future—acrobatic partners, that is. But getting closer to Nik means diving deeper into sin city and into his dizzying world.
Thora wants to perform with him, but when someone like Nikolai attracts the spotlight wherever he goes—Thora fears that she’s destined to be “just background” to his spellbinding show.
This sexy and exhilarating New Adult Romance can best be described as Cirque du Soleil meets the steamy, athletic romance of Center Stage.
*standalone & no love triangles—recommended for readers 18+ for mature content*
What do you think? I find the colors to be stunning! And I especially love the Amour Amour on the cover. I adooore this pretty! *pets her screen*
Meet the authors
Krista & Becca Ritchie are identical twins. They write New Adult books that make you cringe, gasp, and go ooh-la-la. (If you do that sort of thing.) They are currently working on the spin-offs and final books in the Addicted series. Connect with them on twitter and their website: kbritchie.com
I love the cover and the title, Siiri. I have a feeling the title might play a huge part in the book, but I might be wrong as well. There's also something mystical about stories set in a circus. It's like anything's possible! I still can't believe there's a new book from Krista and Becca Ritchie again and I haven't started with the Addicted series yet. At least, there are more books to look forward to! Heh.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see how excited you are for this book! I have been seeing these author's names everywhere and I am definitely planning on reading their books when I am older :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Siiri! <33
LOL I love it when it's stated in the blurb that there are no love-triangle. I really cannot wait to see what you think of this one. The cover is amazing. Thanks for sharing, dove ;)
ReplyDeleteNot going to lie, I was expecting to see more of a circus on the cover! I have a serious obsession with circuses, OK?
ReplyDeleteAnyways, still, it's so pretty! I love the all those tones of red and purple!
Thanks for sharing, Siiri-bear! :)
*pets the screen with you* Krista is amazing with these book covers. I am really looking forward to reading this one since 1: I've never ever been to Vegas; 2: I've never seen Cirque du Soleil perform; 3: I've never seen Center Stage; and, 4: I've never been to a circus. Color me intrigued! I feel like making it a goal to do all of the above before December 12th even if I have serious doubts of accomplishing that goal. It's obvious your love for these girls run deep if you've come out of a long "cover reveal hiatus" to participate in theirs, all while you're supposed to be busy having fun on your (kind of) vacation! You're truly the best, Siiri! *insert heart symbols here*
ReplyDeleteOooo yes that is GORGEOUS! Love, love, love the colors Siiri:) Normally I'm not a huge fan of covers that are simply extreme close ups of a face because it doesn't tell me anything about the story itself, but I think it works in this case. I like that her eye is closed, and her expression is interesting:) Makes me want to know what's going on in her head!
ReplyDeleteI can't... I just can't look away!! The cover has this sort of vibrant look to it, it's simple but packs such a punch. I can't wait to see how Amour Amour will turn out. Though, I feel like the twins could write a to-do list and I'd still love it hahaha ;P
ReplyDeleteWow that cover is gorgeous! I personally usually don't enjoy covers with faces on it lol. This one however, seems to be the exception :) It's so pretty and I love all of the colors. I've seen a Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas. Haha yay for personal connections
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty, Siiri! When I went to the ALA in Vegas back in June they had a Cirque du Soleil, but the "sexy" kind. Not sure what that meant, and I never found out, lol! No time when I'm on the prowl for books! Anyhow, this story sounds original, interesting and sexy! Can't wait for this one. Thanks for the giveaway ladies! :)
ReplyDeleteI like that the cover itself is relatively simple, because it allows the fab font and colour of the title to really pop. Thanks for the great giveaway; a girl can always use more money for books. Happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this cover! It's so simple but eye catchy! Now that I think about it these authors always have the nicest covers! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, oh I like that a lot. I just love the colours and it totally makes me reconsider my bad run with NAs. But to be honest, I think I just picked the worst ones out there to try, lol >_< I loved Dangerous Boys and that was technically NA. ANYWAY. Random. I'm totally adding this. *dashes to goodreads*
ReplyDeleteThis is actually a pretty well-done cover :D I don't usually like covers with a huge face on them but this is well done, as well as the typography. The red/violent/orange palette is definitely stunning.

LOVE that this says 'standalone and no love triangle' right on the description. Also, I've never read anything about circus acrobats - especially sexy ones - I cannot wait! I have bookmarked the page about the order of the Addicted series so that I can follow it when I pick it up. But I'm afraid I'll get so completely obsessed with the books I'll not be able to do ANYTHING until I finish them all. Must wait until I can devote time. Though I know they aren't all out yet. I'm determined to read these because I know how much you love them. Every author needs a super fangirl like you to promote their books! xo
ReplyDeleteOooooh, that cover is gorgeous!!! I love how the light shines out through the words :D What talented sisters, to be able to design their own covers AND write a book together. Although I must admit it's a little weird that two siblings can write an NA together...how do they juggle the sex scenes? :/
ReplyDeleteWow....that is one breath-taking cover, Siiri...I love it and actually never heard of this book before. Sounds like a good story. Will check it out on Goodreads. Thanks for sharing, my friend. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the sounds of this! Sexy + circus has got to be something special, right?! Also, I think it's so great they flat out say there's no love triangle. Girls after my own heart. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, love!
WOW I love the sound of this with a circus show in vegas and a new sizzling romance! Thanks for sharing Siiri, it looks freaking awesome.
ReplyDeleteI actually really like this cover, Siiri! And definitely excited for more from the twins. Your fault, girl. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhile the plot doesn't really sound like my thing, the cover is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing Siiri! <3
