Two addictions. One lie.
No one would suspect shy, Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.
Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.
But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again.
Now the only person who can truly help her, can barely help himself.
What do you think of it? For me it wasn't even a question - as soon as I saw the description for their debut novel, I knew it was something I wanted to read. The cover is gorgeous as well. I like it! The girl is really pretty (and kinda sad and compelling), the coloring is well chosen and there is, indeed, something addictive about the cover, isn't there?
Also, Krista and Becca were lovely enough to offer you all a giveaway of a New Adult book of your choice. It's possible to receive your prize from The Book Depository so all international entries are welcome as long as TBD ships to you. Good luck lovelies!
Woohoo! CONGRATS, you awesome twins!ReplyDelete
I loved designing your cover <3
Wow, this sound really interesting. I don't think I've ever read a book that focus on a sex addiction, and I applaud Krista and Becca tackling it in a female character, especially when slut shaming seems to be so suddenly prominent. Or maybe it's always been prominent and I just haven't really noticed until recently? Sometimes I live under a rock, so it could be either one:) Love the cover, the tone of it definitely seems to fit after reading the blurb!ReplyDelete
I'm not gonna lie, this book scares me. Those are some tough issues. But I will definitely looking forward to your review!ReplyDelete
The cover's gorgeous and yes, compelling. Wow, Hafsah is truly the best! And then that plot. Wow. Heavy but it sounds really good!ReplyDelete
